May Day May Day!

I LOVE it when I can actually attend a celebration where one of my cakes is part of the fun!  Today  I was able to go (for a short time) to my great niece's 1st birthday party.  I made Miss Kinslie her big birthday cake along with the smash cake for her personal consumption.  She was adorable!  I hope she loved her cake.  In this post, I will have some unusual cakes but oh my goodness they were fun! 

Oh and some fun and exciting news...I applied for a spot on TLC's the Next Great Baker Season 2!  I heard back from the casting producer on May 9th.  They asked for more pictures!  How cool is that?  I don't expect to get asked to be on the show but how awesome is it that they wanted to see more pictures?  :)
